Nowruz Celebration in Azez

Nevruz was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Azez district of Syria. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü organized an unforgettable concert to celebrate Nevruz with many artists, including the famous Turkish artist Şükriye Tutkun.

Turkish folk music artist Şükriye Tutkun, TRT a and Syrian vocalists took the stage at the event held at Azaz Yunus Emre Cultural Center.

BROTHERHOOD SONGS SUNG

The importance of brotherhood was highlighted with Turkish, Kurdish and Arabic songs sung as part of the event "Our Hope Blooms".

"I am very happy to celebrate Nowruz events symbolizing the arrival of spring in Azez. I congratulate everyone on Nevruz Holiday," said Turkish folk music artist Şükriye Tutkun.

SPECIAL SHOW FROM CHILDREN

Yunus Emre Institute also organized a show called "Children of Spring" for this day, which is also celebrated as World Down Syndrome Awareness Day.

Children with Down syndrome and different types of disabilities presented the meticulously prepared show with the audience.
