IIUM and MSU of Malaysia start offering Turkish lessons

The Management and Science University (MSU) and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) have started to offer Turkish language courses with support from the Kuala Lumpur branch of Yunus Emre Institute within the framework of "My Choice is Turkish Protocol," signed between Yunus Emre Institute and these universities.

At the MSU, the Turkish courses will be given for three hours a week, including two hours of formal education and one hour of online session, while the IIUM is offering Turkish courses for six hours at three different classrooms in the campus of the Faculty of Management and Language in the city of Pagoh.

600 students taking Turkish lessons in Malaysia and Thailand

Universiti Putra Malaysia, Kolej Permata Insan in Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (Islamic Science University of Malaysia) and Darulnaim College of Technology had previously started to give optional Turkish language courses with support from Yunus Emre Institute.

In addition to Malaysia, instructors from Kuala Lumpur branch of Yunus Emre Institute have been teaching Turkish in the United Islamic School in Patani region of Thailand. Yunus Emre Institute is teaching Turkish to more than 600 students in Malaysia and Thailand under "My Choice is Turkish" protocol.
