Culture and Tourism Deputy Minister Prof. Dr. Haluk Dursun visits Yunus Emre Institute's Baku branch

Republic of Turkey Culture and Tourism Deputy Minister Prof. Dr. Haluk Dursun paid a visit to Yunus Emre Institute's Baku branch during his official visit to Azerbaijan.

Arriving at the Institute's branch in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister Dursun was given a presentation on the Turkish education activities, the Turkology Project and cultural and artistic activities conducted by the branch.

Prof. Dr. Dursun signed the visitor's book and expressed his satisfaction over the Institute activities and for getting to know its staff. He noted that the cultural activities to be conducted should be have permanent, extensive and positive effects on society. To this end, he added, periodic efficiency analysis should be conducted to prioritize effective and high quality activities, and this will serve the aims and targets of the Institute better.

Deputy Minister Dursun toured around the building and chatted with the students at the Turkish language class.
