Certification Program for Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language Ended
The closing ceremony of the "Certification Program for Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language" organized by collaboration of Yunus Emre Enstitüsü and Gazi University Turkish Instruction, Research and Application Centre (TÖMER) was held on May 26th 2017, Friday in Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Ulus Building with participation of Gazi University TÖMER administrative staff and Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Turkish Education Directorate.
In the program launched on May 2nd, 2017, 30 participants who aspire to gain experience in teaching Turkish as a foreign language, received training at Gazi University Turkish Learning, Research and Application Centre.
Participants observed classes before noon everyday of the week throughout the month-long program, and in the afternoons, they attended seminars given by field specialists and academicians.
At the closing ceremony, following the speeches by Gazi University TÖMER Deputy Manager Assoc. Dr. Nezir Temur and Yunus Emre Enstitüsü Turkish Instruction Manager Kerim Sarıgül, participant who participated in the training and successfully passed the exams, were presented with certificates. The ceremony ended after a group photo shoot.
The program that consisted of theoretical and practical trainings, lasted four weeks. The following seminar courses were given as part the program:

- Listening Skill in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language
- Bilingualism and Its Reflections in the field of Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language
- Exam Application and Assessment in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language
