We Condemn The Attack on Democracy
Turkish democracy was heavily attacked on the night of July 15th , 2016. This attack that targeted the legitimate President elected by people's vote, legitimate government and Turkish Grand National Assembly, was repelled by collective resistance of Turkish people. Turks protected Turkish Grand National Assembly and democracy.
Whole world witnessed how determined Turkish people are to live in peace and solely with free will.
Yunus Emre Enstitüsü is on the side of the legitimate President, Government and National Assembly elected by people and is a supporter of the will of Turkish public.
May God rest the soul of all Turkish citizens martyred during this heinous attack and wish all the injured citizens to get well soon.
We would like to express that we side with Turkey's democratic parliamentary system with all our employees around the world and vigorously condemn the attacks on this system.
