Publicity meeting of Voice of Turkish Radio, established with the aim of introducing and improving Turkish instruction will be held on 23 December Wednesday at 6 pm. in Ankara Palas.

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü continues to carry out projects to promote Turkish language, culture and art. Sound of Turkish Radio to broadcast both home and abroad aimed at foreigners who wish to learn Turkish and Turkish culture is the new project Yunus Emre Enstitüsü has realized by integrating internet technologies.

Voice of Turkish Radio will reach all corners of the world with an internet connection, and will introduce Turkey better and through accurate sources to people around the world under culture-arts and teaching Turkish to foreigners categories.

President's Message

Yunus Emre Enstitüsü was established with the aim of promoting Turkey, its cultural heritage, Turkish language, culture and art, improving Turkey's companionship with other countries, furthering cultural exchange, and providing services to those who wish to get education in Turkish language, culture and art. Out Institute carries out its culture, art and language instruction activities with 42 centers in 34 countries. Yunus Emre Enstitüsü will reach larger masses and also those who wish to learn Turkish by way of Sound of Turkish Radio which recently started to broadcast.

We plan to broadcast shows on various topics including Turkish music, Turkish cuisine, education, culture-arts, health and sports on our radio. In addition, we believe that current and accurate news, live connections with our culture centers abroad, and information on respective countries will get attention. Language and literary bull sessions, radio plays, shows on Institute's operations are among major elements of our broadcasting policy.

A web-based radio station, Sound of Turkish Radio is significant for reaching every corner of the world with an internet connection. Additionally, we will instruct Turkish systematically via a webpage featuring activities arranged for various levels in connection with the shows. We believe a new era in teaching Turkish as a foreign language will begin with Sound of Turkish Radio.
